Limited edition badge produced for the centenary of Ulster Covenant signing

North Antrim Amalgamated Orange Committee 2012 makes the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and also the centenary of the signing of the Ulster Covenant and in order to make these occasions the Committee have organised a Special Church Service.

This service, hosted by Ballycastle District L.O.L. 23, has been arranged for Sunday 13 May in Ramoan Presbyterian Church, Moyarget and will be conducted by Bro. Rev. David McCarthy.

The collection will be in aid of L.E.M.O.O.S. Brethren are asked to assemble at Moyarget Protestant Hall, Kilmahamogue Road, at 2.15pm for service at 3.00pm sharp.

All five districts will have their bannerette on parade at this service.

Sword bearers will lead the Parade followed by the five District Bannerettes, Grand Lodge Officers, County Officers, District Officers of Rasharkin, Cloughmills, Ballymoney, Bushmills and Ballycastle.

Immediately after that will be the first band who will then be followed by Sisters, visiting Brethren and then the Brethren of Rasharkin, Cloughmills in numerical sequence. After the second band will be the Brethren of Ballymoney, Bushmills and Ballycastle again in numerical sequence.

The Committee will also be attending the forthcoming Covenant Parade scheduled for Belfast on Saturday 29 September. All arrangements for this parade will be arranged by the Committee.

We are also producing a limited edition medal and badge to Commemorate the signing of the Covenant and these will be available early July.

Medals are prices at £15 each and badges £4. Orders for these must be pre-paid and payment received before the end of May.
