From Barnamaghery, near Saintfield, Wellington Memorial Silver Band plays in Section Three of the Northern Ireland Brass Bands League.

Sheelagh Greer, also the Chorale’s accompanist, is described as one of the finest mezzo sopranos in the province and is in constant demand.

Sheelagh has taken part in a concert tour of India on two occasions, and has sung the role of Carmen in a production of Bizet’s opera in Tuscany.

With the Lindsay Chorale’s resident compere providing humour, the concert is billed as promising to be a great night of entertainment.
