To order a postcard is simple. The images are categorized for easy search. Choose your picture, type in your personal message and pay online (most major credit cards are accepted). The postcard will be delivered in 3 – 5 days for UK addresses; international postage delivery will vary depending on address.

Julie Andrews, Director of the Linen Hall Library, says: “The postcard archive housed here in the Linen Hall is fantastic. No where else can one find such an extensive range of images that capture all of the moods of this country from the past 100 years. The app has been produced so that we can share this archive with the world in a way that also gives the Library, which is a charity, a funding stream.”

The app was produced by Northern Ireland-based design and development company BT48 with funding provided by the Arts Council through their Creative Industries Innovation Fund.
