Liquid thrown at man from car

A caller to Coleraine station reported that a car, believed to be a Ford Focus, drove past him near to the Diamond Centre on Friday, April 19 at around 7pm.

He claimed that an unknown passenger then threw a container of liquid from the car at the man as it drove past.

Police would appeal for witnesses to this assault and can be contacted in Coleraine on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the independent Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.
