Lisburn Baptist Church to host lawyer as he makes the case for the resurrection

As Easter approaches the Christian church proclaims the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

But at the same time there are those to whom Easter means little or nothing. They ask, “Did Jesus really die? And if so, is there any proof of his resurrection? Or what has this to do with me 2000 years later?”

Steve Wright is a lawyer who uses multimedia to present evidence for the Resurrection. He is coming to Lisburn on Palm Sunday, April 13 at 4pm, when Lisburn Baptist Church will host a special afternoon entitled, “Verdict on the Empty Tomb”.

The lawyer will examine the historical, medical and legal evidence for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

This event is open to all, Christian and non-Christian alike to come and hear the most fascinating Easter story of all time; to judge for themselves the evidence which will be presented.

Tea will be served in the church hall afterwards. On-street parking is available at the front of the church in Longstone Street, or in the church car park off Tonagh Avenue.
