Lisburn city centre is set to come alive for second Culture Night event

Lisburn city centre will come alive on Friday, September 19 with its second Culture Night.

For one night only, venues across the city centre will open their doors to introduce you to a world of live music, art, exhibitions, performance, workshops and family fun.

Lisburn City Centre Management, Island Arts Centre, Lisburn City Council and Lisburn Historic Quarter Arts Group have come together to bring you the special evening of free entertainment, discovery and adventure.

This year Culture Night has even more to offer with over 30 free events in 25 venues across Lisburn city centre.

Gay Sherry-Bingham, Centre Manager at Atlas Women’s Centre said, “We are encouraging as many people as possible to get involved; women, men and people of all ages and abilities. On Culture Night, the Atlas Centre will offer free drop in arts and craft workshops and our Flash Mob returns to Bow Street. Everyone is welcome, so join one of our classes and be part of the cultural experience.”

A representative from Love Lisburn Nights Out said, “Customers dining in selected restaurants will be treated to a musical array of solo artists performing violin, mandolin, guitar and harp from 7pm- 9.20pm (booking is advised to avoid disappointment).”
