Lisburn CWU host renowned speaker on Bible prophecy

A renowned convention speaker, with a special ministry on the subject of Bible-based prophecy, Dr. Alec Passmore, from Preston, England, will be hosted at the Market Street mission hall of Lisburn CWU.

Mayor of Lisburn, Councillor Andrew Ewing, will tomorrow (Saturday) welcome Dr. Passmore as he begins his local ministry.

A number of clergy from the area will also be involved in the services, which run until December 2, and choirs and groups from around the province will be bringing ministry in song each evening.

Dr. Passmore says: “I carry out the ministry of evangelism and Bible teaching in many parts of the UK and also Eastern Europe, where I serve with the charity - Balkan Vision Eastern Europe - I formed and now direct in former communist countries.

“I do not have all the answers, but have had a lifetime interest and study of the Bible message of the near-return of Christ.

“I look forward to this visit to the province of Northern Ireland with prayerful anticipation and longing for a touch of revival again.”
