Lisburn girl is a next generation leader

Young Enterprise NI alumnae Cathy Campbell (left) and Sarah McBride (right) will represent Northern Ireland at the Next Generation Leaders Forum held in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

Cathy Campbell from Friends’ School and Sarah McBride from Ballymena Academy developed their entrepreneurial spirit through local charity Young Enterprise NI’s Company Programme last year where they each took the challenge of starting a business with their classmates.

They will be amongst some of the world’s top youth leaders as they gather at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario.

The Next Generation Leaders experience is a blend of personal growth, practical experience and confidence building. Young people face real business challenges and develop strategies in collaboration with their global peers and industry volunteers.

Having developed skills that are essential to making their dreams a reality, the Northern Ireland delegation will return to their communities with a new perspective on what is possible.
