Lisburn is dubbed a ‘pointless’ city
Have you ever wondered if Lisburn is really a city or is it still, at heart, a market town?
According to people questioned by the popular BBC 1 quiz show ‘Pointless’ it seems Lisburn is still not really recognised as a city, with no-one naming it when asked about cities on the island of Ireland.
Aired on Wednesday evening, the show, which asks contestants to find the most obscure answer possible, revealed that no-one knew Lisburn was a city. In fact, it was the only city that scored a ‘Pointless’ answer.
