Lisburn parents urged to share views on childcare

LOCAL charity Employers For Childcare Charitable Group, is calling on parents in Lisburn to share their experiences of using childcare by completing a survey.

Whether parents use childminders, day nurseries, afterschool clubs, grandparents, siblings or a mix of all of those, Employers For Childcare Charitable Group, want to hear from you.

Last year’s survey revealed that a high percentage of parents in Lisburn reported that childcare was extremely difficult to access.

To date the response rate from Lisburn families has been low and Employers For Childcare is concerned that the challenges faced by rural communities in particular will not be fully represented.

It is important that as many parents as possible complete the survey as the results will be used to campaign Government for more financial assistance for parents with their childcare costs.
