Lisburn Square sale is welcomed

‘“The recent purchase of Lisburn Square is the second chance many have wanted for a landmark development that promised so much but through a combination of factors not least the economic downturn has not been able to reach its full potential,” sad Mr Martin.

“I am delighted that the new owners plan to refocus Lisburn Square’s offering towards leisure and not solely base what they do around retail. We would be missing a trick if the council together with the local business community do not embrace the opportunity of a fresh start for the Square.

“With Lisburn Square under new management, there needs to be the opportunity for the public, residents, current tenants and all key stakeholders to feed in their ideas on what can be done differently because if a revamp proves successful Lisburn Square could take the city centre economy onto another level entirely.’
