The fun, family musical is being presented by the award-winning Belfast Operatic Company.

The show waltzes in to the Grand Opera House on Tuesday May 20 until Saturday May 24, and promises all the classic ‘Cinderella’ moments - from the pumpkin to the glass slipper - the timeless enchantment of this magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance.

Laura, who teaches in Pond Park Primary, is delighted to have been chosen to play this role with the company, although is no stranger to the stage, having played numerous roles with Lambeg Players and Belfast Operatic Company - including Mrs. Potts the singing teapot in ‘Beauty And The Beast’ and more recently, the exuberant Mrs. Fezziwig in the companies last production, ‘A Christmas Carol’.

“I am looking forward to bringing my interpretation of this classic character to the Opera House stage,” said Laura. “This new musical version of the show is based on the 1997 Disney film, and is currently running on Broadway, so it’s a very exciting show, and audiences will be enchanted by the Disney magic.”

‘Cinderella’ runs from Tuesday May 20 until Saturday May 24 at the Grand Opera House, and tickets are available now from the Box Office at www.goh.co.uk/cinderella, or by telephone on 028 9024 1919.

This touching edition of an old classic will enchant and delight the whole family, while the hearts of children and adults alike will soar when the slipper fits - so make sure you get to the Box Office before the clock strikes 12.
