Litter pick and recycling
ON Saturday, 150 residents from Glenullin and the surrounding area gathered at the GAA pitch and carried out a huge litter pick of all the surrounding roads.
The litter pick was organised by Glenullin GAA and 80 binliners of rubbish were collected. Aluminium cans were gathered separately for CANCAN recycling. CANCAN, in Ballymoney, also recycle foil and clothing. CANCAN took part in the litter pick.
This pick took place as part of TIDYNI and the Belfast Telegraph's Big Spring Clean Campaign.

Hide AdAfter the litter was collected, everyone gathered in the GAA hall and had refreshmenats.
All 100 children who took part received a free goodie bag courtesy of Kenny Bradley,Spar. Many thanks to everyone who contributed and helped to make this a very successful community event.
