Lizards sighted by Whitehead boy on first day of his school holiday

Whitehead birdwatcher Cameron Moore had the opportunity to train his camera on a different subject matter whilst out on the coastal path with his grandson Calum Armstrong.

Cameron, who captured the images (right and below) of what he identified as common lizards, said: “You can imagine the excitement when my grandson not only saw these but was able to observe them close up.
