Local charity holds coffee morning

A hot cuppa and traybakes were served from 10am to 12 noon, with additional craft, plant, bricabrac and homebaked goods stalls for visitors to enjoy.

The total raised was £2,119.65. Many thanks to all those who provided goods for sale, helped out, serving, washing up and attending the coffee morning.

Serious global conflicts have left many children in dire conditions, and Save the Children endeavours to provide help, both at home and abroad.

All donations are gratefully received by Save the Children Fund.
