Local company announces new jobs

The jobs in manufacturing and customer service are a result of the company’s recent acquisition of Belgian based Ecoloc flooring with production being relocated to Northern Ireland.

The company currently operates from two production facilities in Lisburn and Markethill manufacturing Flexi-Tile, a revolutionary loose-lay interlocking PVC floor tile.

The deal is set to treble the size of Unicorn Mouldings Flexi-Tile business where they currently distribute tiles to Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands, Lithuania, Denmark, Switzerland and many more. The tiles are injection moulded in a range of finishes suitable for factories, warehouses, gyms, airports, offices and domestic use. The tiles cut down on labour costs and reduce disruption due to quick and easy installation.

Flexi-Tile was recently awarded Best Exporting Business at the Lisburn and Castlereagh Business Awards 2016. Unicorn Mouldings forms part of the FHS Group, a privately owned company with a diverse portfolio of businesses currently exporting to over 40 countries, employing 75 people.
