DCI Catherine Magee said: “The house was ransacked during the burglary, which is thought to have happened sometime between 8pm and 9:30pm on Sunday 02 November. Detectives would like to speak with anyone who saw suspicious activity at the time. “

Police received a report that a purse was stolen from a licensed premises in the Ann Street area of Ballycastle. The theft was reported to police on Tuesday 04 November.

Police are investigating the theft of children’s play tyres from a school on the Kilns Road, Ballycastle. The theft is thought to have happened on Thursday 30 October.

Police were called to a two vehicle collision at Ballybrack Road, Cushendall on Wednesday 05 November. A car overturned during the collision but the injuries sustained are not life threatening.

Police received a report that five bottles of wine were stolen from an off licence on Main Street, Bushmills on Friday 07 November. A woman is helping police with their enquiries into the matter.
