Local firefighter applications closing date looms
THE Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) is reminding anyone interested in applying to become a Retained (part-time) Firefighter that the closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 8 March at 3.00pm.
Applicants need to live and work within a five minutes radius of their local Retained Fire Station that is recruiting and NIFRS is encouraging more females and those from ethnic minority backgrounds to apply.
Carnlough, Cushendall, and Ballymoney are now recruiting.
