Local firm boosts charity

A LURGAN company has joined forces with a well-known premature baby charity.

TinyLife, Northern Ireland’s premature and vulnerable baby charity, have announced the launch of the TinyLife pin badge in association with Saica Pack, based in Robert Street.

The launch of the pin badge is another fundraising initiative for the local charity who support the families of premature babies, however without the help of Saica Pack this venture would never have been a possibility.

Regional Fundraising Manager, Valerie Cromie explained: “The TinyLife pin badges are a great way to show your support and raise awareness for the charity and all for the cost of 1. We are a very small charity and receive no government funding so we rely heavily on the generosity of local people and local businesses to ensure we can continue our vital work in Northern Ireland.

“Our partnership with Saica Pack Lurgan means we can finally offer the general public a symbol of their support.”

Alistair Pedlow highlighted why Saica Pack chose to support TinyLife: “It has been an absolute pleasure for Saica Pack Lurgan to be an essential sponsor to TinyLife, we wanted to recognise the charity’s importance in the local community and we hope our association helps to highlight the fantastic work they do every day.”

Saica Pack Ireland is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of corrugated cases onto the Irish market, they have three sites across the island, including Lurgan, and are considered the innovative leaders in their field.

The pin badges were officially launched in Dunnes Stores across the province during April. The pin badges are excellent ideas for wedding favours or christening, as a meaningful token for your guests.
