Local firm secures a major contract

A HILLSBOROUGH based software company has landed a major contract with the Repblic of Ireland’s health service.

Tascomi Ltd, which specialises in government software systems development and compliance consultancy, will be supplying their successful Environmental Health software to the Health Service Executive (HSE) in Ireland.

The company’s investment in targeting markets has paid dividends with the award of this major contract. The company has developed innovative technology in the field of browser based applications and has been hugely successful.

The contract is one of the largest that Tascomi has won since it was set up in 1998, and significantly enhances the company’s presence in Ireland.

“This is a major breakthrough for Tascomi,” said Managing Director, Richard Martin.

“Our Environmental Health software has already proven very successful with Local Councils and this latest success will only help to reinforce our position as a market leader in the web-based software applications arena,” he added.

2012 has been another successful year with continued steady growth in Ireland, north and south. Many Councils have added further systems to their existing Tascomi applications and those who have purchased the innovative online portal are now enabling the public to access services such as dog-licensing, bin collections and many more, in an efficient, cost effective manner. There are 14 out of 26 local Councils now availing of this software.
