Joining the Lisburn Young Defenders will be CWA Brass, Carrickfergus, Drumlough Pipe Band and Dunloy Accordion Band.

The new CD features 15 tracks, covering military marches, traditional aire’s and pop and movie themes, and is the band’s third recording following on from Aces High and Back to Back. The band’s own conductor, Mr Gary Shields, has arranged 10 of the tracks to suit the band’s Melody Flute playing style.

The recording of the album was carried out by Mr Laurie Johnston, who came across from Liverpool along with his recording equipment to Leslie Memorial Orange Hall. As he was returning back to England the same day, this left little room for any mistakes at the time of recording, however, the album is a fantastic achievement.

The CD cover and inlay card were produced by band member Mr R. Geddies, with the front cover displaying the band’s 40th Anniversary badge.
