Local girl gets her hair all chopped off in memory of Rebecca
Fifteen-year-old Zoe Jefferson got all of her lovely long hair chopped off and donated it to the Little Princess Trust.
Zoe did this brave act in memory of her mum’s cousin Rebecca Haughey who passed away in September following a battle with Leukaemia.

Zoe’s mum Louise was Rebecca’s cousin and told the Star that the fund raising is going well.
Louise said: “Zoe’s enjoying her shorter hair and many people have commented that she suits the shorter hair.
“She’s doing really well with the fund raising and between online and offline donations, she has over £530.

The family were left heartbroken when courageous Rebecca passed away in September following a battle with cancer.
Rebecca, from Lurgan, was a sixth form pupil at St Catherine’s College, Armagh, and a former member of Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society (MAD).
“We have seen at first hand how important this charity is - this hair will be going to other children and it will benefit them.
