Local groups awarded grants

A number of local groups have each been awarded grants of £350 from Ballymoney Borough Council for various events.

Eleven groups benefitted from the Good Relations Scheme.

They include Cloughmills Cultural Historical Society for assistance towards community craft classes;

Bushvale Church Friends group for financial assistance towards an Indian cultural workshop;

Ballybogey over 50’s club for a trip to Hillsborough Castle;

United parish of Ballymoney, Finvoy and Rasharkin Youth Club for towards a Holiday Bible Youth Club;

Stranocum and District Community Association towards their community week;

St. James’s Youth club for financial assistance towards a Multicultural youth event;

Castle Kids for a summer scheme;

Ballymoney Welfare group towards a Walled City tattoo event;

Kilraughts Friendship club for a series of talks;

Castle Community Association towards a cross community trip;

Rasharkin Residents Association for financial assistance towards a Diversionary Fun Day.
