A group of eight Guides, nine Brownies and six leaders made the trip .

They were paraded up the Mall by Police Cadets to the youth enclosure which is right beside Horse Guards Parade.

During the Mall Walk, those in the youth enclosure are taken out first and walked up to Buckingham Palace.

The group were at the very front of Buckingham Palace during the fly past and whilst the Royal family were on the balcony.

On the morning of the Trooping the Colour the girls had to be up early and a moment of guiding history was made.

Leanne Vennard told us: “We had to be up at 6.30am and when we went to get the girls up, we found them all up and ready to go. It’s the first time in guiding history leaders haven’t had to wake the girls.”
