Local nurseries nominated for family awards

Four local Nursery Groups have been nominated for the Best Nursery Category at the Families First Awards 2016.

The nurseries in Banbridge and Dromore that have been nominated are Bellabambinos, Little Friends, Poppins Day Nursery and First Steps Day Care.

Voting lines are now open and families across the province are invited to nominate their heroes and vote for their favourite family friendly businesses.

In 2016 the awards will be bigger than ever before with two gala events being hosted to accommodate the vast number of entries from across the province, Ann King, founder of the Families First Awards is excited for what lies ahead.

She said: “Life is hard for families and there is a lot of pressure on those with young children to do the right thing and make sure they are always doing their best for their children. The people and businesses nominated in these awards are making a real difference to families across Northern Ireland and these awards are a great way of saying thank you.

“This year sees us put on an event in the Belfast area and one in Armagh which will recognise people and businesses across most of Northern Ireland. I’d like to thank everyone for nominating their heroes and ask that you go online now and place your votes for the business awards and your nominations for the people awards.”

The Banbridge and Dromore area nominations will all be included in the Families First Awards Event at La Mon Country House Hotel and the closing date for entries and votes will be 29th January.
