Local people support Hospice Coffee Morning

THE Lisburn Masonic Hall Management Committee and Mrs Caroline Swann are each holding Northern Ireland Biggest Hospice Coffee mornings sponsored by Bewley’s on September 20.

Mrs Swann is holding one at Ashley Lodge, Dunmurry between 11am and 12noon while the Lisburn Masonic Hall Management Committee are holding one on the same date at Lisburn Masonic Hall between 10am and 11am.

All the money raised from the events will go directly towards providing care of adults diagnosed with life threatening or life limiting conditions in the area.

Lynn Boyce, Events Fundraiser at Northern Ireland Hospice, commented: “Last year coffee hosts and hostesses throughout the province raised an amazing £55,000 for Northern Ireland Hospice which was marvellous.

“This year we are looking for more people who are willing to organise and host a coffee event for hospice either at home, work or indeed anywhere that’s suitable so that hospice is able to raise even more funds this year.

“The target for this year is £67,000 which is needed to ensure Hospice continues to prove its vital service to local people and their families who depend on Hospice care.”
