The BBC Good Food Show came to Northern Ireland for the first time ever at the weekend, with thousands of visitors thronging to the Waterfront, Belfast.

Among those tempting the public with their tasty produce were award-winning Ann’s Pantry from Larne’s Main Street and Camran Crafts of Ballycarry which creates artisan marshmallows.

Ann’s Pantry’s wide range of delicious bakery items proved a popular choice with show-goers - reinforcing their recent victory as Northern Ireland’s Best Bakery.

Wendy Campbell and Tracie McFerran of Camran Crafts said the show was a fabulous opportunity for an even larger number of people to sample their marshmallows - which come in enticing flavours such as raspberry ruffle and orange, mango and gin.

“It was also great to meet other producers and the chefs like Paula McIntyre as who knows what opportunities may lead from this,” said Tracie.

The pair started their enterprise a year ago as they both have children with autism and wanted to produce something full of texture but also natural.
