Local MP David Simpson was quick to congratulate those who received the results they wanted and also was keen to remind those who did not that it’s not the end of the world.

“Whether this leads to University, College or the world of work; I wish you well.

“Unfortunately for some, you have been left disappointed with your results and you are now at a crossroads wondering where your future plans are going.

“There is a fantastic network of advice open to students now and I advise that you take advantage of these services in order for you to reach your potential and meet the goals you have set in life.

“Everyone, regardless of the grades they have received, will have a range of options open to them and it is vital that they discuss those options with their school and find the best path for their future.”
