Local retailers are in the running for industry awards

A number of local retailers have reached the finals of this year’s Neighbourhood Retailer Awards.

Spar Mountsandel has been shortlisted in Neighbourhood Store of the Year.

Whilst McAtamney’s Butchers in Abbey Street are hoping to scoop Butcher of the Year.

The awards ceremony will be held in the Ramada Plaza on Friday, October 16, and will be hosted by Northern Ireland’s best loved broadcasters Eamonn Holmes.

The Northern Ireland Cancer Fund will be the charity partner for the event.

Over the past 16 years, the Neighbourhood Retailer Awards has attracted entries from the leading retailers in the country who hope their businesses will come out on top and scoop an award at the industry event of the year.

This year sees the return of the Industry Achievement Award, much anticipation surrounds who will be this year’s recipient.
