Local teens let down as ‘Jingle Ball’ cancelled

Scores of teenagers from the Ballymena and Antrim areas are feeling let down this morning after the abrupt cancellation of the Cool FM ‘Jingle Ball’.

The SSE (Odyssey) Arena has said “scheduling difficulties” have forced the December 13 event’s cancellation.

A statement said: “Unfortunately due to scheduling difficulties this year’s Christmas Live (Jingle Ball) will not be going ahead as planned.

“For refunds please contact point of purchase. Please note any tickets purchased by credit card on the Ticketmaster website, the Ticketmaster 24 hour credit card number or The SSE Arena, Belfast will receive an automatic refund.

“Tickets purchased by any other method of payment or through a Ticketmaster outlet should return tickets to the point of purchase.”

Pre-event publicity promised that “Cool FM Christmas Live 2015 will bring the biggest pop stars to The SSE Arena, Belfast for one massive pop party!”

Tickets to the event were priced at £38 & £30
