Lockhart praises RNIB coffee morning

DUP Cllr and Assembly Candidate has congratulated the Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council on hosting a hugely successful coffee morning to help raise funds for the well known charity RNIB.

Speaking following the event Cllr Lockhart said: “RNIB have really been to the fore throughout Northern Ireland in championing the needs of those who have impaired vision or are blind.

“Way back when I was at school we were always spoken to, informed and educated about the needs of those who are problems with their sight.

“This work is invaluable and I have no doubt that the £1200 raised will be put to excellent use by this highly reputable organisation.

“It was a pleasure to attend and show my support and I would commend the Lord Mayor in hosting such an event.”
