Lockhart praises village’s charity vintage cavalcade
DUP Councillor Carla Lockhart has praised Mr Walter Kerr and the hard working team that work on a yearly basis to make the vintage cavalcade a success within the village.
Cllr Lockhart said, “As always the vintage cavalcade was huge success with crowds lining the streets of Waringstown, the beautiful weather and the excellent turnout of vintage cars, tractors and bikes. I believe this vintage rally is one of the largest local attractions and not only because of the vintage vehicles but also the affiliation that the people of Waringstown feel to Kidney Research Northern Ireland and the efforts to keep the well known and loved Mrs Josie Kerrs memory alive within the village. It was a real family event with everyone enjoying the display.”
