Looking to exchange your home?New online service for social housing tenants

HOUSING Executive and most housing association tenants can now use a free online service to look for suitable homes that are available for exchange.

Gerry Flynn, Housing Executive Director of Housing explained: “HomeSwapper is the UK’s largest and most successful home swap service.  

“It’s now free to all Housing Executive tenants and most Northern Ireland housing association tenants and is an easy way to find the right new home.”

“Housing Executive and housing association tenants can swap homes with another tenant. Finding a mutual exchange through HomeSwapper means our tenants won’t have to go on a waiting list.

“Homeswapper is simple to use. Tenants simply log on to www.homeswapper.co.uk and register to use the service. If they are eligible, they will be able to advertise their home for exchange. Already dozens of tenants have signed up.”

HomeSwapper has the UK’s largest database of people looking to swap homes, with over 246,000 users across the UK. In the past 12 months 29,000 households have swapped homes using the website.
