Lottery windfall for Caw Golden Years Project
Caw Golden Years Project is celebrating a major Lottery windfall this week.
The organisation was the centre of attention last week when it was announced that a Big Lottery Programme grant of over £300,000 had been granted to the group to fund the next five years of activities and events. The money also means security for the Luncheon Club in the district.
Sentinel Reporter Olga Bradshaw caught up with co-ordinator Linda Watson on Tuesday to find out exactly what the grant means for the community and especially for older people in the Caw Nelson Drive area.
