A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Police attended the area shortly after 2.30am on Saturday, following reports of a group of males fighting in the area. On arrival of police the males dispersed.

“There were no reports of injuries and no complaints were made.”

Upper Bann MLA Dolores Kelly said: “I condemn any violence which took place and damage to property.

People caught up in such confrontations are only damaging their own neighbourhoods and causing stress to local residents.”

She added: “I would appeal to people in the area to report any anti-social behaviour to the police.”
