Louise's life has left a lasting impression

Louise was the dearly-loved wife of Gavin and beloved mother of Josh and Amy.

Paying tribute , Joanne Dobson MLA said: “She fought a very brave battle over a number of years but never once let her cancer define her or stop her from enriching all of our lives.”

“I am heartbroken,” she continued. “Louise was a truly amazing person. She was full of love and would do absolutely anything for anybody.

“She had the kindest heart, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.”

Recalling how Louise supported her during the dark days of 2009 when her son Mark was recovering from a kidney transplant, Ms Dobson continued: “She will leave a lasting memory in my life. I loved her so, so much, she was loyal, trustworthy and caring.”

Louise moved to the Banbridge area over seven years ago and quickly became known in many circles.

“She made such an impact on people across the local community,” said Ms Dobson.

“She was always supporting local groups and charities as well as being an integral part of the Banbridge Academy Association and the Hockey Club. We have all lost an inspiring, beautiful woman.

“She was a rock to so many with her listening ear, help and advice.”

Paying tribute, Banbridge Action Cancer said: “So very sorry to hear that lovely Louise Peacock has lost her battle with cancer. Louise was a beautiful young woman who fought a long hard battle.

“She supported the work we do and it was always lovely to see her at our events.

“Remembering Sarah Tai too who lost her battle last month. An amazing girl and an inspiration to so many. Two beautiful, strong young women taken from us by this cruel disease. So, so sad.”

Banbridge Hockey Club said: “It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Louise Peacock.

“Louise was such a huge part of our club over the years supporting and volunteering at every opportunity.”

In further tributes, Norah Burns said: “Louise Peacock was indeed a beautiful young woman both inside and out. She will be sadly missed by so many,” and Jill Woods said: “Louise was a beautiful person in every way and was always smiling - will miss that smile”.

Carol McCready said: “She fought a tough battle, never complained and was an inspiration to many. Our loss is heaven’s gain.”

Diane Fitzpatrick said: “Heaven has gained another Angel,” and Tracey McKee said: “We really were blessed to have her and our lives are all the richer for knowing her.”

Margaret Copeland said: “Louise was the living example of the definition Lady.”

A funeral Service will be held in Holy Trinity Church, Waringstown, on Wednesday February 3 at 1.00pm followed by interment in adjoining churchyard.
