Love for Life has been a charity since 2002 and works to equip young people with the knowledge skills and values necessary to make good choices when it comes to relationships and sex. Recognising the inherent worth and value of each individual, Love for Life believes that young people can choose to avoid damaging behaviours, including alcohol, drugs and underage sex, when adequately supported.

Love for Life aims to deliver engaging school and youth programmes to over 30,000 young people across Ireland each year, as well as actively contributing to regional health and education.

Judith Cairns CEO of Love for Life said: “We are honoured to have been nominated for this award. The funding we have received from the Joseph Rank Trust has supported our vision to offer every post primary school a programme at no charge. Our culture is becoming increasingly sexualised and we are committed to delivering programmes that give young people accurate and relevant information that can help them as they consider their choices with regards to relationships. Every year we have the incredible privilege to deliver value based Relationships and Sexuality Education to over 30,000 young people. It is our vision that all young people will be given an opportunity to develop a healthy respect for themselves, relationships and sex.”

The event is organised by the Christian Funders’ Forum which is a group of executives and trustees of strategic grant-making foundations/funds who grant or invest in Christian work up to £30m a year.
