Love is the light on the road unknown
“God spoke light and light appeared.” GEN 1-3
Though at present sunshine is rare
Days are cold and grey skies appear
The garden now is stripped of leaves
Darkness descends but Christmas is near.
Which speaks of One who spoke light into being
Formed the world just by His words
Though born in a dark and lonely stable
Now Prince of Peace and Lord of Lords.
Love is the light on the unknown road
Let’s welcome whatever the seasons bring
Give thanks through each day and circumstance
Be glad and let your praises ring.
Though past days have been bewildering
Hasn’t God always brought you through?
Keep looking to Him and never give up
He will never give up on you.
