Love to learn at the Roe Valley Arts Centre

A host of great courses are available for everyone from September to December, including some workshops developed in partnership with the superb Limavady Campus of the North West Regional College. Are you passionate about photography and would like to learn black and white wet developing skills? A course in Traditional Photography is running from September 20 to November 22, 7-9pm, with places costing £50 per person.

The popular Paper Craft Course continues from October 23 to November 27, 7-9pm, allowing you to make great cards and learn new techniques in time for the festive period. Places cost £30 full/£26 concession.

Adult Life Drawing is hard to source outside of Belfast, however if you want to hone your drawing skills, then look no further than the 10-week Life Drawing Course which runs from November 7, 2012 to January 30, 2013 (no class on December 19 and 26 2012 or January 2, 2013), from 7-9pm weekly. Cost £50 per person.

If you prefer to let loose on the dance floor then Inside Salsa is the answer! This informal and fun six-week course facilitated by Echo Echo Dance Company will guide you through the sensuous and energetic moves of salsa dancing from November 5 to December 10, 7.30-9pm, cost £24.

The Dramabugs Course in drama and movement for early years aged 3-6 years returns with two courses running back-to-back from 18 September to 23 October, 4-4.45pm and 5-5.45pm, cost £24.

Young people aged 13-18 years can experience Authentic Hip Hop with Echo Echo Dance Company’s very own Janie Doherty from November 5 to December 10, 6-7pm, cost £24.

The Artspark and StART Art Courses return from November 3 to 8 December, 10.30am-12.30, keeping little ones occupied in the exciting run-up to Christmas! Places cost £24 in each course.
