That’s according to Supervalu’s SuperMums campaign as Lucy has been plucked out of the crowd to go through to the national finals at Stormont in October.

Lucy was nominated by her husband Aaron for being a fantastic wife and mother to the couple’s two children Katie (4) and Frank (2).

With another on the way, Lucy strives to be as good a mum as her own mother, who passed away three years ago to cancer.

Lucy will now go on to attend the celebration event at Stormont on Wednesday, October 1, where she will be in with the chance of winning a family holiday to Malaga, courtesy of Jet2.com.

She’ll be among 30 mums from across Northern Ireland to contest for the title of Supervalu’s SuperMum in the inaugural competition, sponsored by P&G.

The contest received over 200 nominations of inspiring, gutsy and much-loved mothers and 30 finalists have been chosen from SuperValu stores in Northern Ireland.

The grand final will be hosted by TV personality Claire McCollum, who will crown the overall SuperValu SuperMum 2014 with each finalist receiving a pamper hamper.

Donna Morrison, Marketing Manager of SuperValu, said: “The standard of entry for the SuperMums competition was overwhelming.

“There are so many inspirational mothers out there taking life’s challenges, opportunities and issues in their stride and the people who nominated them gave us so much to think about when it came to choosing them as our finalists.

“I’d like to congratulate Lucy on being chosen as SuperValu Moira’s SuperMum and wish her all the best for the grand final.”
