A Lurgan man who has admitted causing damage to an ambulance will be sentenced at Craigavon Magistrates Court next month.

He is charged with causing criminal damage to an ambulance belonging to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service during an incident on July 30 this year.

A defence solicitor said Cranston would be pleading guilty to the offence, adding that because it was damage to an ambulance and with the defendant’s record, a pre-sentence report may be required.

District Judge, Mr Peter King, adjourned the case until October 14 so that a pre-sentence report can be obtained.
