Lurgan man faces drugs charges

A Lurgan man has been released on bail after appearing at Craigavon Magistrates Court on drugs charges.

Timothy David Deardon of Flush Place, Lurgan was arrested by the PSNI on Tuesday.

He faced five charges including possessing a Class B drug, possessing a Class C drug, two counts of possession with intent to supply and possessing ‘criminal property’.

The drugs cited included cannabis and Diazepam

The 33-year-old was remanded on bail.
