Lurgan woman injured after being hit by car

A woman has been left injured and badly shaken after a car reversed into her as she stood outside a Lurgan shop.

According to the PSNI the local resident had been standing outside Magills shop at Deeney Drive, Kilwilkie at around 9.10am yesterday (Monday) morning.

She was injured by a reversing vehicle, say poice.

“She was left badly shaken and with a nasty broken wrist,” said a PSNI spokesperson.

“The vehicle involved is believed to be a silver BMW.

“We are investigating this collision and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen it or can help identify the driver.”

“A 52 year old female pedestrian sustained an injury to her wrist. The male driver of the car spoke to the female following the collision before driving off,” said the PSNI
