Lynda-Jane back home for Messiah

LYNDA-Jane Workman's promising career has already gone full circle as she returns to her native Coleraine on Saturday, January 23, to sing the contralto solos in Handel's Messiah.

Just six years ago the critics said she had "the voice of an angel" and now, having distinguished herself at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music in Glasgow and sung at many prestigious concert halls throughout the UK and beyond, she is delighted to bring her talents back home.

Everyone is welcome to rehearse Messiah for the performance during that Saturday or you may prefer to join the audience at 7pm in Terrace Row Presbyterian Church.

Either way, you are assured a most enjoyable event which also raises money for three worthwhile charities. Further details can be attained from Peter Wilson on 02870329323.
