Each Yummy Mummy finalist picked from a selection of gorgeous goodie boxes filled with a range of award-winning Senna Cosmetics generously donated by Oonagh Boman Makeup, the Irish and UK distributors of the celebrity-favourite American beauty brand.

One of the boxes contained a green apple and the lucky Yummy Mummy who picked that box won the trip of a lifetime to the city that never sleeps.

Overwhelmed to have correctly selected the lucky box, Lynsey said: “I can’t believe I’ve won. This means everything to me. Going to New York has always been a dream of mine and it’s just amazing that it’s now going to come true.”

Lynsey’s father Andy shared his daughter’s joy adding: “I’ve always wanted to take her to New York. My wife and I always wanted to go and we booked to go around the time of 9/11 but had to cancel and never got there in the end but it’s great that Lynsey can now go herself. She deserves the break. She’s a very hardworking mother.”

Lynsey will bring her partner Jason to the Big Apple in the near future. Although, her dedication to her two beautiful children may pose a problem the dad of two admitted: “We can’t wait to go but I think Lynsey will have a hard time leaving the kids behind. She deserves this and I’m really happy she won.”

Astrid Johnston, Manager of American Holidays’ Lombard Street, Belfast branch said: “Being a mummy is one of the toughest jobs there is. It’s lovely to be able to reward a dedicated mother with a much-deserved break and it doesn’t come much better than a trip to New York.

“We are delighted that Lynsey won. She clearly has her hands full with an eight month old baby and a little girl.”
