M1 junction closed at Lurgan after accident causing tailbacks

The junction has been closed to facilitate a bridge inspection and repair after an overnight traffic collision.

Traffic is being diverted off the M1 at J10.

According to Traffic Watch NI there is currently a queue approaching J10.

“The M1 is estimated to remain closed until 6am Tuesday morning when it will reopen with a lane 2 closure in place. This lane closure will be in place for several days continously. Expect delays especially at peak times.”
