Macmillan blooming delighted with Andrew’s £1,100 donation

MACMILLAN Cancer Support is absolutely delighted to receive £1,100 from Garvagh man, Andrew McClarty who has been actively raising funds from his beautiful hanging baskets.

Andrew painstakingly grows and nurtures flowers which he uses to carefully arrange into beautiful hanging baskets and window boxes and sells them with the proceeds going to Macmillan.

Macmillan Fundraising Manager, Maria McGleenon, told the Times: “Andrew and his family have been supporting Macmillan for many years now and it’s been an absolute pleasure to receive their support.

“Andrew’s family have been a great support to him in his fundraising and I know that the local community really get behind him. Andrew’s fundraising efforts have been helping to fund the building of a new Macmillan Specialist Palliative Care Unit which was recently opened at Antrim Area Hospital.”
