Maghaberry WI notes
Members of Maghaberry WI were treated to a talk by Eleanor Harrison at their March meeting who brought along her lifetimes collection of patchwork quilts, cushions and wallhangings. She explained the story behind each one and answered questions from the ladies afterwards.
A report was given on the An Granian weekend and the Homecraft Weekend at the Silverbirch Hotel.
Those who attended showed their beautiful creations to the meeting. Birthday girl was Pier and the ballot winners were Irene, Christine, Avril and Gillian. Competition winners for a patchwork item were Julie/Lynsay, Heather and Jean.
