Maghera motorist fined for no insurance
A motorist was fined £215 at Magherafelt Court for having no insurance.
Colm Lurach McGuigan (52), of Sunnyside Drive, Maghera, also received six penalty points.
The court heard the offence came to light after police stopped the defendant’s vehicle at Hall Street, Maghera, on September 1 last.
A PPS lawyer said a check on the motor insurance showed the vehicle was not insured and defendant was unable to produce his driving document on request.
