PLANNING applications for the Magherafelt District Council area which received approval from the DoE Planning Office, with a number of them subject to outlines and conditions, included:

Proposed change of house type including garage as previously approved under another application at Tamnadeese Road, Castledawson, for Frances Taylor; extension to existing hardstanding area of existing yard to commercial premises 55m north west of 1 Loves Hill, Castledawson, for Noel and Marie Lennon; proposed 55Kw endurance E-3120 (36.4m hub height, tube tower) wind turbine, about 980m east north east of junction of Gulladuff Road and Carnaman Road, Maghera, for Mr Gerard Ward.

Retention of temporary wind monitoring station about 980m east north east of junction of Gulladuff Road and Carnaman Road, Maghera, for Mr Gerard Ward; proposed joinery workshop expansion including stores - the proposed expansion of the existing joinery workshop is in part substitution for the temporary (unauthorised) storage sheds (ammended plans received) at Coleraine Road, Maghera, for Specialist Joinery Group; replacement afterschool building, new roof and stairwell at Cloneen Manor, Maghera, for Cloneen Day Nursery; farm dwelling 50m south east of 106 Creagh Road, Magherafelt, for Mr Paul McGrogan.
